By 2020, it is projected that this country will be 70% dependent on imports.

This dependence compromises our national security and makes us extremely sensitive to the impact of oil price increases.

Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities Program serves to help reduce our area's dependence on foreign oil by encouraging widespread use of fuel alternatives. As the country moves toward alternative fuels to support its national security and economic independence, Pittsburgh will be a step ahead of communities who have yet to adopt the use of AFVs.

If interested in finding out more about alternative fuel and alternative fuel vehicles, please contact Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities at 412-391-5590. Join the drive today.
